Bruins' center Patrice Bergeron played his 300th NHL game on Thursday, with Boston taking down the Ottawa Senators 2-1. The victory finds the Bruins heading into the Eastern Conference playoffs with 50 wins this season, the eighth time in franchise history the team has hit that particular mark. The American Hockey League has selected Jonathan Bernier of the Manchester Monarchs as March’s Reebok X-Pulse/AHL Goaltender of the Month. Playing 12 of the team’s 13 games in March, and 48 total this season, Bernier is also tied for the lead among AHL rookies with four shutouts. More of his impressive stats are here.

Penguins goalie Marc-Ándre Fleury had his fourth shutout of the season with a Wednesday night win over the Calgary Flames. Fleury blocked 31 shots in front of a hometown crowd, for a Pittsburgh victory of 2-0. For more, check out NHL.com.

Having taken the record for most NHL wins by a goaltender, New Jersey Devils’ Martin Brodeur is fast approaching the league shutout record. In Friday night’s game against Minnesota Wild, Brodeur blocked 35 shots for a 4-0 victory, and tally of 101 career shutouts. That puts him just two behind matching Terry Sawchuk’s record of 103. Canucks goaltender Roberto Lunogo cinched his 46th career shutout by blocking 30 shots to close down St. Louis Thursday night. The 3-0 victory over the Blues was a club record for Vancouver, as they hit their 11th straight at home win. TSN.com has the details on Luongo’s game-winning saves.

New Jersey Devils superstar Martin Brodeur has eclipsed the record for the most career wins for a goalie in NHL history. Making 30 saves in a 3-2 victory over the Blackhawks on Tuesday night, Brodeur, passed the previously held record of Patrick Roy and won his 552nd regular season game. Martin Brodeur tied Patrick Roy’s record of 551 regular-season wins by a goaltender on Saturday night, when the Devils trumped the Canadiens 3-1. Roy himself was in the stands in Montreal to watch the seminal game. Brodeur is enroute to break the NHL record when New Jersey plays the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.
